Description:	Charles P. Schmitt (1937- ) is a Pentecostal pastor influenced by Watchman Nee and aspects of the Latter Rain and charismatic movements. He served as pastor of the Fellowship of Believers (Grand Rapids, MN) from 1962 until 1979, when he moved to Maryland to be part of the Gathering of Believers, led by Larry Tomczak and C. J. Mahaney. Schmitt separated from the group in 1981. In 1983, Schmitt started Immanuel's Church (Silver Spring, MD).
